Closet Shopper is a personal wardrobe app. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes. The short version: your closet lives on your device, backup is optional, and nothing is sold or used for advertising.
When you add an item or an outfit, the app saves it on your device: the photos you take or choose, and the details you enter such as category, color, brand, size, notes, price, and wear history. This data stays on your device and is not sent anywhere unless you turn on backup.
Backup is off by default. If you turn it on, you sign in with Apple, and your closet (item details, outfits, and photos) is copied to a private database and storage bucket hosted on Supabase under your own account. This lets you restore your closet if you change or reset your phone. Your backed-up data is protected by per-user access rules so other users cannot read it.
You can turn backup off, sign out, or delete your account at any time from the Backup screen (the account icon on the Closet tab). Deleting your account removes your account and the data backed up to it.
Backup uses Sign in with Apple. Apple provides the app a unique identifier for your account, which is used only to associate your backup with you. You can choose to hide your email from the app through Apple's private relay.
When you use backup, your data is processed by:
Some AI-assisted features are limited to the developer's own account and are not available to other users. When those features are used, a photo is sent to an AI provider (Anthropic and/or Replicate) to generate the result, and the result is returned to the app. These features are off for all other users.
The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new "last updated" date.
